Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, I discovered a passion for self-empowerment and writing at a young age. I am a Social Worker, mother, sister, daughter, friend, and a warrior! Yes, I am a warrior. Throughout my life, I have endured painful trials and survived for the purpose of cultivating others to become greater version of themselves. I was inspired to start Endure to Empower blog last year to share my Social Work knowledge and experiences with childhood trauma and Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)/ generalized anxiety to educate, empower, and enrich the lives of others struggling with similar challenges. My personal adage is I exist to empower. Every scar I bear is testament that one can triumph through the toughest of storms and come out a champion. It is my hope that every person who reads my blog will be inspired to be strong, fearless – but more importantly unapologetic about their existence and unashamed of the challenges they have faced in life.
