My friend, we breathe the same air. I am you and you are me. We are intertwined into a rich fabric. Woven for unified greatness. Unique by design and threaded by divine hands. We exist with a parallel purpose. We struggle and cry the same tears. We endured separate storms yet share a single objective – to survive! We live because of a great Savior. When alone and burdened, his love embraces us. We do not walk though life, we are carried. Grace is upon our lives. Lets journey together. With the strength of unity, we can face another day.
The purpose of my blog is to empower others to strive forward and preserve in this journey called life. It is not an easy journey – a lot of turbulent roads, steep mountains to climb, and storms to weather. My heart’s mission is to used empowerment as a tool to help others achieve peace, healing, and self-actualization. We can do it together! A higher altitude can be reached when we stand on each others shoulders.
This is a safe space, not just for me – but for us. As you read my entries, you may notice theme words such as hope, faith, and love. Powerful ingredients. When mixed together, empowerment is produced. 1 Corinthians 13:13, “Now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” Faith is the belief that there is something better to seek, while hope is the expectation or the certainty that it is there. Hope is the fuel that keeps faith alive in our quest to find love. This leads to the question, are you in full supply of these in your life? Are you searching for love, purpose, direction, or relief from a heavy circumstance? Do you have the strength to overcome and claim your victory despite it all?
I must admit, there were times in my own life when I had to empower myself. I would pray, journal, read the bible, and weep if my soul required it. Although these gave me solace, I garnered the most strength from receiving a message of hope/ or hearing the testimony of others who have endured similar battles and WON! Please understand if you have not realized before. We possess an innate power to coach each other to the finish line. There is a scripture which reads, “the race is not given to the swift nor the strong but to those who endure until the end.”
I encourage you to keep holding on. Life is to be lived one breathe, one day, and one moment at a time. Every test can be conquered, but only when you make the conscious decision to stand strong and NOT give up.
